In this session I will go over tools and best practices for using WordPress for your non-profit website. I will go over topics related to collecting donations using two of the most popular options, Give and WooCommerce. Then I will go over sharing your organization’s mission through good content and tools such as Zapier and MailChimp to get your content out to your intended audience. Lastly, I will share about ways to connect with your community using tools for communication and events, including live chat, contact forms and event calendar plugins. I will share all of this from an insider’s perspective with the experience of having worked for and built sites for several non-profit organizations.
