Meet Capitol Wapuu<\/h2>\n

Capitol (with an \u201co\u201d, please!) Wapuu is hugging the famous dome, which recently completed a multi-year restoration project<\/a>. Atop the Capitol dome is the Statue of Freedom<\/a>, and it is the tallest structure in the District of Columbia.<\/p>\n Lincoln Wapuu pays homage to our nation\u2019s sixteenth president, with his trademark beard and top hat.<\/p>\n Last, but certainly not least, is D.C. Flag Wapuu, hugging the District\u2019s colors! Officially adopted in 1938, the District of Columbia\u2019s flag is derived from the coat of arms of George Washington and consists of three red stars above two red bars on a white field.<\/p>\n Of course you\u2019ll be receiving sticker sheets at WordCamp D.C. so you can bring all of our Wapuus home with you!<\/p>\n Want to know more about Wapuu and his history with WordCamps around the world?
